The Unknown Kimi Raikkonen

Official Description from Author:

In this superb and authorised portrait of Räikkönen, Kari Hotakainen gets to reveal the side of the man that few beyond his close family and friends have ever seen. Enigmatic and private, Ferrari s former world champion driver rarely opens up to outsiders, but he granted Hotakainen exclusive access to his world and to his way of thinking. It ensures that this will be a book that will delight all fans of motorsport, who have long revered the Finn.

This is a great read for any F1 fan. The book uncovers the mystery of Formula 1s 2007 World champion who is blisteringly quick on the race track and famously silent off it. This book offers great insight into the life of Kimi Raikkonen and provides some great stories that you might not have known. I enjoyed how the book was brilliantly crafted and very light to read. My favourite section of the book were chapters covering Kimis early F1 career and his adventures with Sauber and Mclaren. As you may know Kimi’s time at Mclaren was both promising and ultimately disappointing, The Unkown Kimi Raikkonen features an in-depth look into that part of Kimi’s career and even boasts some one liners from the man himself.
