Both FIA Formula 2 Championship hopefuls Marcus Armstrong and Robert Shwartzman tested in a Ferrari Formula 1 car at Fiorano this week.
They both drove in the SF71H from 2018, which they have both had some experience of previously.
They will be looking not only to get to grips with a modern F1 car but also have some significant lap time to help them on their #RoadtoF1.

Shwartzman continued his track mileage in the Scuderia’s F1 car as he builds up the milage he will need for any possible Super Licence and seat in F1.
He declared on his social media, “Took this gorgeous red horse for a ride.” The day concluded for the Russian driver with 200km under his belt.
Meanwhile, on the same quest for miles his FDA counterpart and championship rival Armstrong clocked up the same kilometers for the Italian team.

Despite the clear objective to perform well in F2 this year, they will also be looking to get a real Formula 1 free practice session at some point too.
