17 year-old Arvid Lindblad has taken the motorsport world by storm, and his official Formula 1 debut on home soil with Red Bull Racing will be another achievement to add to his ever-growing list of accomplishments. Having already won one title so far this year, the Red Bull Junior is hungry to take his second. 

Despite being the youngest driver on the grid, Lindblad demonstrates excellence every weekend, consistently delivering podiums and wins, eliminating any doubt Campos Racing and Red Bull may have had.

Making history by becoming the first Formula 3 driver to win both the Sprint and Feature Race at a single weekend, Lindblad has thrown himself into the spotlight, and as a result he has quickly progressed to Formula 2, and now will make his Formula 1 Debut on home soil, just a year after this dominant F3 weekend.

Getting behind the wheel of Yuki Tsunoda’s RB21, Lindblad will have 60 minutes to impress not just Red Bull, but the other teams on the grid as he tries to secure himself a seat for the 2026 season. Tensions will be high, as Red Bull will set high expectations for the rookie, and being on home soil makes the attention on him even greater.

Lindblad could follow in the footsteps of Tsunoda – a fellow Red Bull Junior driver before he moved to the main team in F1. Tsunoda finished third in his only season of F2, with three wins and a further four podiums.

Driving alongside reigning World Champion Max Verstappen, Lindblad has lots to learn in the hour-long practice session, and with the unpredictable British weather, anything could happen.

With his Formula 1 debut approaching, the weekend will be a busy one for the Brit, as he will still participate in the eighth Formula 2 round – one that will be vital as he aims to continue his title charge.
