Bearman aiming to “improve each weekend” in upcoming F2-debut season

The 2023 F2 Rookie was happy to share his experience exclusively during testing with his team Prema Racing in the last couple of days, at the YAS Marina Circuit.

“It’s been really positive, we covered our program, which was the main priority.  I feel really confident in the car, which is really important”, says Bearman, adding he is very much looking forward to his first official F2 race in Bahrain next season.

The young British driver will be moving up to Formula 2, after spending a year with Prema Racing in F3. “The F2 car is faster in the straights, you have to look a lot further ahead”.

The Ferrari Driver Academy member is planning to add some “more neck training during the winter”, due to the increased efficiency of the carbon breaks in the new machinery he will be driving during the upcoming season.

“Now we have pit stops as well, which is quite fun, and it’s good to get used to them”, comments Bearman.

The young Brit will be aiming to “keep improving each weekend”, and is hoping to help his team sit in a “good spot at the end of the season”.

He will now be returning home for some rest, before getting back to business and “working harder than ever to make (the new season) successful”.
