Correa Happy with New Layout in Barcelona

Correa happy with altered layout of the Barcelona Circuit

A very happy Juan Manuel Correa expresses his appreciation for the altered layout of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which changed just ahead of this weekend’s Round 7 of FIA Formula 2.

“It’s pretty cool, the circuit is fast and very exciting for us as drivers” mentions the Van Amersfoort Racing driver.

A new layout putting not only the tyres, but also the driver’s physical fitness to the test, as the American-Ecuadorian confirms.  “It is also physically more challenging, and the tires will suffer bigger degradation”.

The 23-year-old finally expressed his hopes for the upcoming qualifying sessions, as he and his team will aim to “stick (the car) in the Top 10” in what will be a key session for J.M and his fellow competitors, taking place on Friday the 2nd of June at 3 pm.
