FIA Formula 2 continues with the teams getting ready to race again in Barcelona where the teams will battle each other for Round 4 of the 2022 season one month after leaving Imola.
This weekend the drivers will be able to put their knowledge gathered during the three days of testing at the Spanish circuit held between the 12th-14th of April 2022 to good use.
Red Bull Junior Team driver Jehan Daruvala shared his positive feelings, revealing he believes he has “good pace both on long and short runs,” and that he and his PREMA Racing team “have always been fast during the races,” on Spanish soil.
The expectations of the 23-year-old Indian driver for the upcoming weekend match his positive feelings, as he confesses he is aiming to “win the races or be on the podium twice, that’s the goal for the weekend.”
After 6 races of the now-increased 28 race calendar in the 2022 FIA Formula 2 season, the PREMA driver occupies the 3rd place in the drivers’ championship, with a total of 36 points and three podium finishes.
Daruvala will look to make up a 16 point gap to championship leader Théo Pourchaire, winner of the Feature Race in Imola.
