Invicta Racing’s front row lock-out ahead of the Barcelona-Catalunya Feature Race was short-lived, thanks to a penalty for second-placed driver, Joshua Durksen.
The 22-year-old had helped make the Feature Race front row completely yellow, having qualified 0.135s behind team mate Rafael Camara.
The Mercedes Development Driver was penalised by the Stewards after Qualifying on Friday for failing to respect yellow flags at the final corner.
Japan’s Ritomo Miyata had crashed just ahead of the Paraguyian as Qualifying reached its conclusion, with the Stewards finding the Invicta driver hadn’t slowed enough when passing the caution zone.

He’s been handed a five-place grid drop – his third weekend in a row with a grid penalty – and will start the Feature Race seventh on Sunday.
He’ll also need to serve the penalty in Saturday’s Sprint Race, meaning a 14th-placed launch for the shorter race.
Miyata also penalised
Hitech’s Japanese driver has seen his fastest lap time deleted after being ruled to be the sole cause of the red flag in Qualifying.
Miyata crashed at the final corner and ended up 13th fastest, but will now start both races from 22nd and last.
He was left without a laptime within 107% of pole position, meaning he needed to ask for permission from the Stewards to take part in this weekend’s races, which has been granted.
