Following the conclusion of FIA Formula 2 at Monza this weekend we reflect on some of the weekend highlights. Its very good reading for PREMA.
With his Sprint Race win, Frederik Vesti now has x6 F2 wins and ties Théo Pourchaire as the driver with the most wins for an active F2 driver.
Prema Racing won both #Formula2 races in this round. The last team that did the same was PREMA in 2023 F2 Barcelona round (Frederik Vesti won Sprint Race, Oliver Bearman won Feature Race).
The last non-Prema team that won both races at the same round was MP Motorsport in 2022 F2 Barcelona round (Felipe Drugovich won both races).
ART Grand Prix achieved fastest lap in both F2 races in this round. The last team that did the same was Prema Racing in 2021 at The Jeddah Corniche Circuit. (Robert Shwartzman did it in Sprint Race 1, Oscar Piastri did it in Sprint Race 2 and Feature Race).
The last F2 round in which a team won both F2 races and another team got fastest lap in both was the 2020 F2 race at The Sakhir Outer Circuit when Carlin won both races (Y?ki Tsunoda won Feature Race, Jehan Daruvala won Sprint Race), Mick Schumacher of Prema Racing got both fastest laps.
