Sophia Flörsch will return to FIA Formula 3 this campaign to drive for PHM Racing by Charouz.
The 22-year-old last drove in the series in 2020 and scored a best finish of 12th at Monza.
Flörsch previously competed in European F3 and FRECA, more recently she drove in the Le Mans 24 Hours and DTM.
Prior to her comeback to F3, the German driver said that she is delighted to be racing in FIA F3 this season.
“I am really excited and very happy to return to FIA Formula 3 this season with PHM Racing by Charouz.
“My goal has always been to race with the best of the best. Since the beginning of my career, I have been working very hard towards this goal every day with my team in the background.”
Team Manager Roland Rehfeld praised Flörsch’s experience ahead of 10-round campaign.

The FIA F3 season gets underway on the 3-5 of March in Bahrain and includes a first-ever trip to Australia’s Albert Park as well as Monaco.
