Dennis Hauger will start 13th in today’s Sprint Race after a tricky Qualifying session.
Hauger spoke to insideF2’s Fraser Ford ahead of the Sprint Race to reflect on Qualifying and his hopes for Saturday’s Race.
“We struggled in the second run, couldn’t quite get everything out of it somehow. Frustrating overall, but in the end it is how it is.”
“Starting P13 today, a lot can happen with the weather, so we have got to make the most of it. Obviously not where we want to be, but hopefully we can see what went wrong and try to improve for today.”
Mixed weather conditions will give Hauger a chance to improve his position. The Sprint Race has a high chance of rain part way through.
“On this track, it is always a bit crazy and you can usually (improve) if you choose the right choices. You don’t even have to have the pace around here really to be honest. It is about being smart and being cautious. We will go out there and try to do the best we can.”
