Dennis Hauger outlined his championship campaign aims ahead of this weekend’s round in Jeddah.
“It’s a really fast track. Technical and fast which makes it really difficult for the drivers.” The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is up there with one of the fastest circuits along with Monza. The walls are never too far away which means a mistake-free lap is more important around this track than others.
“For us, after the first round, the important thing is to have a clean weekend without any issues, the pace was there. So just need to get those points going forward!”
Hauger finished second in the Sprint Race in Bahrain last time out but lost points in the Feature Race after a collision involving multiple drivers on the opening lap. However, he showed his pace throughout the course of the weekend. He qualified fourth and made fast progress through the field in Saturday’s Sprint to achieve his place on the podium.
