Hauger “Looking For More” After Hungary

Hauger Hoping for Dry Feature Race

Dennis Hauger, the Norwegian Red Bull Junior driver has a productive weekend in Hungary picking up a Sprint Race win and a P7 result in the Feature Race.

About his weekend, the MP Motorsport driver felt that “qualifying was a step in the right direction” finishing ninth but there is still work to be done.

“It’s not enough still. We need to be in the top 5-6 to be able to fight for the bigger points.”

Then on Saturday, he managed to take the lead and managing the tyres well was how he got the win.

Finally on Sunday, the ex-F3 Champion found the feature a “bit more difficult.”

“Managed to gain six seconds on the guy in front after our pit stop but just really hard to pass around here.”

Hauger is continuing to look forward to Spa, the last race before the summer break, and feels like he knows where the work needs to be done.

“Felt like we maximised the situation in the races. But we still have the step to make for Quali which I’m sure we can do. And when we fix that we can show our true race pace like we did on Saturday.”

“I will go to the Netherlands now for simulator training and work for Spa to push hard next week!”

Things seem to be starting to develop in last year’s championship winning car, but we will see how this goes next week when F2 returns to Spa Francorchamps.
