James Hedley will switch from Elite Motorsport to JHR Developments in the GB3 Championship at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend.
The British driver sits 11th in the standings after scoring consistent points finishes and a strong third place in Race 3 last time out at Snetterton.
The Poole resident enjoyed great success with JHR in British F4 during the 2020 campaign securing fifth in the championship. Hedley scored four victories including a superb trio of wins at his home circuit, Thruxton.
Hedley said: “I will be doing the next round at Spa with JHR Developments. I had some great memories with them in the past. Looking to create some more this weekend.”
The 18-year-old will join reigning British F4 champion Matthew Rees in an amplified two car line-up at Belgiums’s most famous circuit.
JHR Developments Team Principal Steve Hunter said: “It’s great to reunite with James for Spa. We obviously know him very well from our successful season together a couple of years ago, and we know exactly what he is capable of. We’re looking forward to seeing how things pan out this weekend.”
After GB3’s trip to Spa the series will return to England for the final three rounds of the championship at Silverstone before Brands Hatch and Donington Park rounds off the eight-round season.
