Hitech is Ready for the Feature Race
Hitech headed into round seven of Formula 2 after a week off from Spain, where they claimed a podium in the Sprint Race, with hopes for a good weekend.
Both Hitech drivers have taken wins in the first season for the team in Formula 2 and will want to carry on their excellent form in Belgium.
Luca Ghiotto managed to claim a podium the Sprint Race in Spain as he also had reverse grid pole. The veteran in the series will hope to claim another podium or another win starting from 10th place when the Feature Race takes place.
Ghiotto said: “I’m excited to hit the track and get going. Hopefully, we can do a good job and keep the momentum going from Barcelona. We will have Anthoine on our mind, so this will give us extra motivation to do well this weekend!”
Nikita Mazepin managed to claim points last time out in Spain and starting second for the Feature Race tomorrow the Russian will want to claim a podium at least but will want the win.
Nikita Mazepin said: “Spa is one of my favourite weekends all year round. I love the track, and I am massively looking forward to getting out there. We are performing well, and I am confident we are going to be competitive. We have had good pace ion Barcelona, and it was a shame to receive a penalty. But heads down!”
Hitech will have their sights set on another win with Mazepin in prime position to do so starting second.
