HWA Racelab has pulled back the covers on what is a different livery for the team’s second season of Formula 2.
For the past three seasons, HWA and its predecessors Arden had cars painted in the pink of title sponsors BWT. However, the Austrian sponsors’ departure has meant that the team has reverted to HWA’s traditional black and turquoise livery.
HWA will be hoping that 2021 will see them move back up the grid, after a challenging campaign last time out, it saw the team only pick up thirteen points all season.
The team’s 2020 lineup of Artem Markelov and Giuliano Alesi has changed for 2021. The team has an all-rookie lineup, which consists of hotly rated Italian junior Matteo Nannini, who will also compete in Formula 3 along with italian Alessio Deledda.

Nannini will drive car number 22 whilst Deledda will be driving number 23 for the season ahead.
Nannini via his Twitter was himself looking forward to being on track soon in his new car,
“First beast revealed! Not too long to go until I get to drive my F2 car in Bahrain”
We look forward to seeing them both on track at next week’s pre-season testing in Bahrain.
