Inthraphuvasak withdraws from F2 round in Canada

Thai driver Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak has withdrawn from participation in Round 3 of the 2026 FIA Formula 2 Championship in Canada.

The ART Driver’s withdrawal follows a medical decision.

Inthraphuvasak crashed heavily during Qualifying on Friday, which caused a lengthy stoppage, before Laurens Van Hoepen took pole for Trident.

It meant his fastest lap time, which had been good enough for 15th, was deleted, dropping him to 20th.

His withdrawal means MP’s Oliver Goethe, who also had a lap deleted, and Mari Boya of PREMA both move up a position for this weekend’s Sprint and Feature Races.
