Defending FIA Formula 2 Teams Champions Invicta Racing are primed to bounce back from a disappointing run on weekends, having secured the entire front row for Sunday’s Feature Race in Barcelona.
Brazil’s Rafael Câmara took his second pole position in as many rounds, beating team mate Josh Dürksen by just over a tenth of a second.

The team, which has taken Gabriel Bortoleto and Leonardo Fornaroli to drivers’ championship glory in the last two seasons, has seen points escape its 2026 drivers in the last two rounds for a variety of reasons.
Both had to serve grid penalties in Canada, while they also got involved in the collisions that populated that weekend.
Further grid penalties left Mercedes Development Driver Dürksen towards the back in Monaco, but Câmara lost an almost certain Feature Race win with a mistake on Lap 35, after struggling to heat up his tyres.
The Ferrari Academy Driver, told InsideF2 he’s learning from these tough moments.
“The last races haven’t been ideal for us,” Câmara said. “The pace has been always there and I think on my side, it could have been much better.
“[I am} trying to keep positive, doing our best. Working how are working is feeling more connected as a team.”
The 20-year-old said the focus is on performance, rather than the result. something his more experienced F2 team mate echoed.
“As Rafa said, the focus is on the job not the result. As long as we do a good job, the results will come by themselves,” Dürksen told InsideF2.

The Paraguayan said that the team remain confident and felt “strong”, highlighting that the whole team is working well as a unit.
Dürksen, 22, added: “We had a lot of pace in the previous race weekends, we just didn’t maximise it,”
“This weekend is going to be very important, now that we are starting one and two, we have very big opportunities to grab a lot of points, especially those that we lost in the previous weekends.”
Ahead of Saturday’s Feature Race, Câmara is seventh in the drivers table, 24-points behind leader Gabrielle Mini, while Dürksen, who won the Sprint Race in Melbourne, is 11th with 21-points.
