Isack Hadjar, born on September 28, 2004, in Paris, France, is a name that’s quickly gaining traction in the world of motorsport. With Franco-Algerian roots and a passion sparked by the animated film Cars, his father, a former kart mechanic, introduced him to karting at the age of seven, and what began as a childhood fascination soon became a full-fledged pursuit of excellence, Hadjar has carved a path that’s taken him from karting circuits.
In 2018, he took the leap into car racing with the Ginetta Junior Winter Series. By 2019, he was competing in the French Formula 4 Championship in 2020, he finished third overall.
In 2021, Hadjar entered the highly competitive Formula Regional European Championship. He secured multiple victories and finished fifth overall. The following year, he took on the Formula Regional Asian Championship, where he delivered another strong performance, ending the season in third place.
Later in 2022, Hadjar joined the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Hitech GP. It was a breakthrough season which secured Hadjar’s move to Formula 2 Hitech Pulse-Eight one year later.
His first F2 victory came during a thrilling Sprint Race at Zandvoort, where his ability to stay composed and execute under pressure truly shone.
In 2024, Hadjar embarked on his sophomore season in Formula 2 with Campos Racing, and quickly established himself as a frontrunner. Over the season, he claimed four race victories and stood on the podium eight times.
His standout performances included a dominant feature race win in Monaco and a thrilling sprint race triumph in Spa, cementing his status as a versatile and fearless competitor.
His relentless drive and tactical acumen saw him accumulate an impressive 233 points by the end of the championship. This total secured him second place in the standings, just 27 points shy of the title.
Beyond the numbers, his campaign was a testament to his dedication to refining his craft, working closely with his engineers, and delivering consistent results against a highly competitive field.
