During Formula 2’s traditional media roundtable on Wednesday, Joshua Dürksen shared his thoughts on AIX Investments’ first year at the helm of the team. The company took over exactly 12 months ago, and according to the Paraguayan driver, the off-track changes have been significant.
When asked by Fraser Ford of InsideF2 about operational differences since AIX’s arrival, Dürksen was straightforward in pointing out the behind-the-scenes impact.
“It felt like a fresh start for the team, a new boost,” he said. “New people, new tools—it all made the work much more professional and serious.”
While on-track performance is the most visible aspect for fans, Dürksen emphasized that internal progress has been crucial for the team’s long-term growth. “I think this new phase is really what made the difference in helping us keep improving. The way we work has completely changed,” he noted.
With 11 points scored so far this season, Dürksen remains focused on continuing the team’s upward trajectory in the rounds to come. And the next challenge is one of the toughest yet: the tight and technical streets of Monte Carlo, which will host Round 5 of the championship and demand absolute precision from every driver.
