Douwe Dedecker will race for Virtuosi Racing in British F4 this season.
The 15-year-old is joining the Norfolk-based squad after a stellar karting career winning the IAME Series Benelux – Mini Parilla series in 2018.
Dedecker is delighted to be joining Virtuosi in what will become his first season of car racing.
“I’m looking forward to joining such a great team in my first season of single seaters in the British F4 championship. I’m looking forward to the season ahead and hoping to get the best results possible.”
The Belgian becomes Virtuosi’s first confirmed driver ahead of the 2023 season.
Virtuosi Racing’s F4 team boss Mark Salmon is eagerly anticipating working with Dedecker in 2023 over the 10-round campaign.
Salmon said: “I’m pleased to welcome Douwe into the Virtuosi family.
“We’re very excited to work with him this year as he makes the big step up into single seaters following a successful karting career.
“We look forward to enjoying a great season achieving our goals together.”
Virtuosi will be looking to build on their 5th place finish in the Teams Cup last year in their debut British F4 season.
The 2023 British F4 season will begin at Donington Park on April 22-23 and includes a trip to the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit on the 24-25 of June.
