At only 17 years old, Arvid Lindblad has impressed many on his journey to Formula 2. Speaking on Instagram Live, the youngster spoke of his ambitions of podiums, poles and wins as he embarks on his rookie season in Formula 2.

After finishing fourth in his rookie season of F3, taking four wins and five podiums, the British-born, Swedish/Indian descent driver made the step up to Formula 2 with Campos Racing to partner Spaniard Pepe Martí.

Lindblad spent the off-season racing in the 2025 Formula Regional Oceania Championship in New Zealand, where he claimed the title with six wins, securing his Super License in the process.

Answering questions from fans, the young Brit claimed season opener in Melbourne as one of the tracks he was most excited to visit this season, alongside Jeddah and Silverstone:

“Really looking forward to this one (Melbourne). I’d say Jeddah I’m really looking forward to as well because that will be a new track and Silverstone because that’s my home race”. 

Speaking on his debut, Lindblad claimed that he wasn’t sure what to expect heading into the first race of the season, “Not sure how my debut will be, hopefully it’s a good one though”.

Furthermore, he went on to say how he hopes to get some podiums and wins this season, which would most certainly make the Red Bull Juniors debut season a successful one. 

When asked about who he was most excited to battle this season, Lindblad kept names close to his chest, suggesting that it would be an exciting season with plenty of battles:

“Kinda looking forward to racing with everyone. There’s a lot of hard racers on the grid, so I think there will be a lot of close wheel-to-wheel racing, which is what we all love as drivers but also for the fans is great”.

An exciting year ahead for the young rookie who may tip to be a potential title challenger if things go his way.
