Campos Racing’s Arvid Lindblad has described the Silverstone circuit as a “very unique”, ahead of his home race.
The British driver, who won both Formula 3 races at the circuit in 2024, and will be making his Formula 1 debut this weekend with Red Bull.
The 17-year-old said: “For me, it’s very special [to race at Silverstone] being a British driver. Last year was my first time back racing in the UK since 2018, and it went really well.
“So I’m really looking forward to going there this year.”
He said the circuit is “super challenging. physically as well as mentally”, adding that it requires drivers to push themselves.
“The high-speed zones, Copse, Maggotts, Becketts, and Stowe, they’re the most enjoyable, but they are also the fastest parts of the circuit.”
The teenager identified the best overtaking opportunity as into Stowe corner at the end of the DRS zone, adding that Turn 3 (Village corner) also allows drivers to make moves on the brakes.
The Red Bull Junior has 79 points so far this season, having taken one Sprint Race and one Feature Race victory.
