Nissany Potential Nissany potential - FIA Formula 2 News

Trident driver Roy Nissany posted the fastest lap of the race in last weekends Feature and Sprint Race showing that the potential is there if they can hook it all up.

We move on this week to the third round of our triple header start to the season  at the Hungaroring and the Italian team will be looking to again make some ground up on the rest of the paddock.

Both drivers showed some solid performance over the two weekends and Nissany picked up a championship point for the team as well as the above mentioned fastest laps.

The Israeli’s team mate Marino Sato was close to a top ten qualifying and the team overall seemed happy with the performance from both drivers.

Qualifying is an essential aspect in Hungary and the team will be hoping to see some great one lap performance from both drivers. With the technical and tight lay out of the Hungaroring grid position really counts and will give the team a real advantage if they can get into that top ten this time out.

Trident team manager Giacomo Ricci believes that they are well placed to deliver on this; “Our drivers performed on promising levels in the first two rounds of the season. Last weekend, Nissany scored the fastest lap twice as a testimony to his solid potential. Marino Sato, who was eleventh in qualifying, showed increasing performance. The team is working well. We are confident ahead of the next round. The drivers have prepared together with their technical staff with the utmost focus”.
