Jaden R. Pariat has signed for Phinsys by Argenti for the upcoming British F4 season.

The 16-year-old competed in two events in the championship in 2022, achieving a best finish of seventh in Race 2 at Silverstone.

The Indian driver explained returning to British F4 was the most logical decision after learning so much during his brief stint in the series last year.

“After driving in the ROKiT British F4 championship for the last two rounds of the 2022 season, it only made sense for us to come back. The amount I learnt on and off track during those two rounds of the championship was really incredible.

“Looking at the level of teams and drivers on the grid and the technicality of the circuits in the calendar makes for one of the best driver development and experience-gaining championships in the world.”

Pariat explained he joined Argenti because of their previous success and Team Principal Michael Meadows view to help develop young drivers.

“We chose Phinsys by Argenti because of the seasons they have had over the last few years, bagging nine wins and multiple podiums in the championship.

“Michael’s vision to support and develop drivers in their first steps into single seaters was also very fitting to our needs. I am super excited for the upcoming season and looking forward to the best we can achieve together with the team.”

Pariat is joined by Isaac Barashi and Patrick Heuzenroeder at the Edgehill-based team. They are looking to build on their fourth place finish in last years Teams Cup.

Meadows said he was impressed with the Indian driver last season and the outfit is eagerly anticipating working with the 16-year-old.

“Having tested Jaden last year, we were impressed with his performance but also his ability to learn and take on information. As a Rookie this is a hugely important factor as they make the transition to F4.

“The team are very much looking forward to working with Jaden, helping him develop as a driver and achieving strong results in the British F4 Championship.

“British F4 is a very competitive championship with strong teams and drivers, it has a proven track record for producing top level drivers, a few of whom are now in F1.”

The ten-round campaign kicks off at Donington Park on the 22-23 April and includes a first-ever trip to Silverstone’s Grand Prix circuit.
