Aron expressed his enthusiasm about joining Alpine, stating:

It is clear that this is a great place to be for any young driver and I’m really pleased that Flavio and Oliver have given me this opportunity. Before 2025 and the hard work that will come with being the team’s Reserve Driver, I have a Championship to focus on for the remainder of this year and I will be giving it my all to compete for the title. I’m looking forward to really beginning the work and continuing my career pathway in motorsport.”

Flavio Briatore, Alpine’s Executive Advisor, commented on Aron’s appointment:

Aron’s motorsport journey began in karting, where he clinched titles such as the WSK Champions Cup and the CIK-FIA European Championship in the OK Junior class. Transitioning to single-seaters in 2019, he secured third place in the Italian F4 Championship and won the rookie cup. His progression continued with Prema Racing in the Formula Regional European Championship, finishing third in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons. In 2023, Aron competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Prema, achieving third in the standings.

The 2024 season marked Aron’s debut in Formula 2 with Hitech Pulse-Eight. He made an immediate impact, securing multiple podium finishes and leading the Drivers’ Championship earlier in the year. His consistent performance has kept him in contention for the title as the season nears its end.

Aron’s appointment as Alpine’s Reserve Driver underscores his potential and aligns with the team’s strategy of nurturing emerging talent. As he prepares for this new role, Aron remains focused on concluding his current season on a high note, aiming to carry his momentum into his responsibilities with Alpine in 2025.
