Théo Pouchaire looks back at the FIA Formula 2 2022 season focusing on the positive moments.
Pouchaire finished P2 in the Drivers Championship, only behind Felipe Drugovich, who finished 101 points ahead.
“If you look at the positives, finishing vice-champion is really good” shared Pouchaire, “I complained a bit about the bad luck, I had so much right until the last race of the season”
While Pouchaire has been racing with ART Grand Prix, his future with the team remains a mystery to the fans. The driver admits he is frustrated the team did not win the Teams’ Championship in 2022.
“At the moment, I just did the test with them to help them because they didn’t have a driver. But let’s see what we do in the future. I’m happy to take the test for them. I drove for ART for the last three seasons, so they’re like family to me.”
Théo is a valuable driver that promises good results, but he has not secured a spot in the Formula 2 grid for the upcoming season
“At the moment, I have not signed anything yet, and I don’t know what I will be doing next year.”
Sharing more about the test with ART Grand Prix, the driver states that everything went well.
“Victor Martins coming from Formula 3 adapted really quickly to the car, he’s really fast. We had a really good lineup for the test. He could learn from me, and I could learn from him. He has a different driving style.”
Pouchaire has nothing but positive things to say about ART Grand Prix, not losing hope for the next season
“They are always trying to improve themselves, and me too. So, if I do another season with them I will push myself even more. We learned many things this year, and we will be able to apply them for the new season”
