PREMA Hope for More Podiums
Prema is ready for another challenging triple header to begin the second half of the Formula 2 season in Belgium.
The Italian team are committed and competitive as the championship makes an emotional return to Spa-Francorchamps after the tragic events there in 2019.
Robert Shwartzman will hope to continue to chase down the championship lead after a positive rebound in Spain. The Russian rookie, who has already scored two wins this season, saw his championship gain momentum once again and wants more success in Belgium.
Mick Schumacher is also coming from a positive round six in Spain, having experienced a four-round streak of points and podiums. After performing well around Belgium in the past, Schumacher will be hoping to claim his first win of the season.
PREMA Team Principal, Rene Rosin, said: “It is definitely a crucial time of the year and coming to one of the world’s difficult and most fascinating racetracks, we are determined to be at the top of our game since the earliest stages. Robert bounced back with a superb run at Barcelona, while Mick has been impressive in terms of performance and consistency. We need to stay focused and committed for our effort to pay off, and we will need to be in top shape from the opening lap of practice.”
PREMA will want to continue their good form with more podiums and wins in Belgium as Formula 2 returns to the track.
