Abbi Pulling is eagerly anticipating Round 3 W Series Championship at Silverstone as she looks to build on an impressive second place in Spain last time out.
The Briton currently sits second in the Drivers’ Standings behind Jamie Chadwick after three races with the championship leader taking a clean sweep of victories.
Pulling said: “I’m really excited for that actually I’ve not really done too much round that circuit but the atmosphere was amazing last time I went so hopefully it’s the same again this year.
“And hopefully a few better results and see how the championship ends up after that weekend and the rest of the season.”
The Alpine affiliate member has been consistent all season scoring points in every race so far and is ahead of her Racing X team mate Bruna Tomaseli in standings.
The 19-year-old conceded the opening round in Miami didn’t go as planned but the season has been successful overall.
“So far it’s been going really well Miami wasn’t what we were hoping for but kind of brought it back in Barcelona and trying to keep that trajectory throughout the season.
“Hopefully next time it’ll be P1 instead of P2 but it’s all well so far.”
Pulling also explained the major differences between the old British F4 car which she scored multiple podiums with and the W Series car.
“There’s quite a few differences it’s obviously got a lot more power, it’s a lot quicker and a lot heavier so it’s a bit more of a handful compared to the F4.
“It’s been a while since I’ve driven the F4 now so I can’t even remember really what it was like but it’s just mainly the weight and power is just a bit different.”
After Silverstone W Series will continue it’s European leg of the season with trips to France and Hungary at the end of July.
