The Trident Team Manager Giacomo Ricci is pleased with his team’s efforts as Roman Stan?k scored points in the Sprint Race at Monza.
The Czech driver finished eighth for the Italian team at their home event, as Clement Novalak ended up in P10.
Ricci said: “We gladly welcome today’s results, with Stan?k ending up in the points zone at the end of a well-executed race with a solid pace.”
The outfit sits in P10 in the Teams’ Championship with 42 points, as one round remains in Abu Dhabi.
Trident scored their first win of the year in a chaotic Feature Race last time out at Zandvoort through Novalak, where were his first points since the Sprint Race in Azerbaijan.
The team manager was pleased to see the Frenchman battle back and deliver a top 10 finish at the fastest circuit on the calendar.
“Novalak also put up a remarkable recovery as he rounded out the top 10, fighting back after making a pit stop. Starting far back on the grid prevented him from finishing in the points zone like his teammate.”
Stan?k performed admirably in qualifying and will start the all-important Feature Race third on the grid.
Novalak will start in P21 alongside PHM Racing by Charouz driver Josh Mason.
