DAMS Roy Nissany talks about the second day of the FIA Formula 2 pre-season test in Bahrain. In a post session video, he reflected on results from both sessions.

Following his second consecutive season with the French team, Nissany feels like he hasn’t made any progress out of the four sessions in the past two days, despite finishing in tenth fastest in the afternoon session on Day 1.
The 27-year-old driver’s results haven’t been gone to plan so far, while new teammate, Ayumu Iwasa having similar issues in his DAMS.
Roy described the struggles he was facing in both sessions,
“A bit more of a challenging day today. We’re in the desert, the temperatures are changing all the time, and it’s very hard to predict”
“It gave us a bit of a hard life with different compounds today as we’ve got so much to learn.”
With only two sessions left from the weekend, Nissany aims to seal a better lap time for the team before finally kicking off the series season opener on the 18th of March.
“We are pretty strong on the prime compound, but struggling just a bit with a soft, so let’s see a good one tomorrow.”
DAMS and Roy will be hoping to cap off the pre-season test with plenty of learnings on day 3.
