The highly rated British F4 driver Ugo Ugochukwu will make his German F4 debut at Nurburgring this weekend for PREMA.

The McLaren junior delivered a multitude of impressive results during his first season of car racing. He has taken two wins so far including a superb wet weather victory at Brands Hatch Indy.

The 15-year-old currently sits third in the championship behind Alex Dunne and Ollie Gray with four rounds remaining.

Ugochukwu said: “It is a great honour to join a team as prestigious as Prema. I am looking forward to start racing for them this weekend in Nurburgring.”

The PREMA Team Principal Angelo Rosin is delighted to welcome the American to the team and hailed his results so far this season.

“It is great to welcome Ugo to the PREMA Family as he showed sensational potential so far. I am sure he will be making huge steps very quickly and will become a serious contender for some high-quality results straight away.

“We are really looking forward to having him as it’s always incredibly exciting to work with young, talented prospects as they get ready to become professionals.”

The 2020 FIA OKJ European champion will also race with PREMA in selected races before the end of the season.

German F4 has been ultra competitive this season, Mercedes junior driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli leads the championship after three rounds for PREMA.
