FIA Formula 2 completes a triple-header of race weekends at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone, with Invicta’s Gabriel Bortoleto aiming to close the gap to championship leaders Paul Aron and Isack Hadjar.
The Brazilian scored his maiden F2 win at Round 7 in Austria, winning the Feature Race from third on the grid.
He’s now 32-points adrift of Hitech driver Aron, who managed to extend his advantage over Frenchman Hadjar in Spielberg.
The Estonian continued his record of scoring in every round this season despite a time-penalty during the Feature Race.
It’s a big weekend for the series’ trio of British drivers.
PREMA’s Oliver Bearman, ART driver Zak O’Sullivan and AIX’s Taylor Barnard will all be looking to excel in front of their home crowd.
Bearman comes into the weekend knowing he will be a Formula 1 driver in 2025 with Haas F1 Team.
ART’s Victor Martins, who has endured a torrid 2024 campaign, will be aiming to draw on his 2023 performance in Britain.
The Frenchman took pole position and Feature Race victory around the famous corners of Silverstone last year.
