When Are The Formula 2 Races in Austria?

Round 7 of the 2024 FIA Formula 2 season takes the series to the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, a circuit known for producing close racing.

Indeed, 2023 saw Dutchman Richard Verschoor charge to Feature Race victory in the closing laps, on a weekend marred by the loss of young Dutch driver Dilano Van’t hoff

This season see’s Paul Aron leading the way as we reach the middle weekend of an exhausting triple-header.

The Estonian has scored at every round so far in 2024 – something only Bahrian double-winner Zane Maloney can also lay claim to.

The Hitech driver holds a nine-point advantage over Red Bull Junior Isack Hadjar in the Campos.

However, it is American hot-shoe Jak Crawford who is the man-in-form heading to the Styrian mountains after his Feature Race victory in Barcelona – the DAMS Lucas Oil driver keen to erode the 38-point deficit to Aron.

The 4.3km circuit features three DRS zones, meaning overtaking opportunities come thick and fast and drivers will have to be precise not to exceed track limits – especially in the final two corners – which has been known to undo many drivers’ good work in Austria.

Here are all the track timings you need for Round 7 of the season.
